Aerial Yoga Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please do not sign up for aerial yoga without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant, have very high or very low blood pressure, have had any recent surgery or herniated or slipped discs or received botox within the last two weeks.

    The hammocks can hold up to $1,000 pounds—the size of an elephant—so they can hold you!

    There are many different types of aerial yoga to choose from-click here to find the style that best fits your practice, body and comfort level! All are welcome!

  • There are a limited number of hammocks so make sure to register for class ahead of time— you don’t want to arrive to find yourself without a hammock!

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts. Students who do not arrive at least 10 minutes early may not have their hammocks adjusted. This is to avoid making students who arrive on time wait.

  • Please cancel your class as soon as possible if you are unable to make it to class.

    You may cancel your reserved spot in class by logging in to punchpass, clicking the class you signed up for and clicking ‘move or cancel reservation’.

    A 12-hour cancellation notice is required, or you will be charged for the class. If you are feeling sick prior to class please cancel your reservation and email us. We may waive cancellation charges due to unforeseen illness.

  • You DO need a yoga mat! Bring yours or use one from the studio.

    Come 10 minutes early so we can fit the fabric to your height. description

  • It is best to wear closer fitting, stretchy clothing and no jewelry that would snag on the hammock fabric.

    Please don’t wear anything with zippers or buttons—they can snag the soft silk fabrics.

    Please don’t wear long earrings, bracelets or rings with a large stone— they can snag and damage the soft silk fabrics.

    Please make sure your feet are clean before getting into the aerial hammocks.
