This class incorporates core work and strength training to bring awareness to our balance and flexibility. The aerial hammocks allow students to access deeper stretches, release tension, and teach students how to use their core to pull everything together and move from their center.
Aerial Pilates is a unique fusion of the Pilates method and aerial yoga. It is a technique that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements with the use of Aerial Hammocks to flow through yoga poses for a complete mind-body workout.
In Aerial Pilates, participants use the hammocks to do a variety of exercises that use the core as a powerhouse to work on inner strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body conditioning. The hammock provides support, allowing for modifications and variations of Pilates movements. It also adds an element of fun and playfulness to the workout!
